Marshfield Select Board Approves Country Club Entertainment License for Friday Gala

Select Board · Meeting of July 16, 2026

Marshfield Select Board clears one-day entertainment license for country club outdoor gala. Chair Rick Smith and Member Eric S. Kelley voted 2-0 Thursday to approve a temporary entertainment license for the Marshfield Country Club at 515 Moraine Street, covering the Atwater Member Guest Gala on July 17 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The outdoor tented event is expected to draw roughly 150 guests and will feature live and recorded music alongside food service. The Marshfield Police Department, Fire Department, and Building Commissioner all submitted prior clearances with no issues noted; the club had separately obtained a tent permit before the meeting. Kelley confirmed the required certificate of liability insurance was in hand, resolving the only question raised during deliberations.
