Marshfield Select Board voted 2-0 three times to reschedule Cars and Copters car show licenses from September 26 to October 17. Chair Rick Smith and Vice Chair Eric Kelley, the only two members active in the vote, approved new dates for the entertainment license, alcohol license, and common victualer licenses covering Chick-fil-A of Hanover, Take Flight Coffee Company, Miss Emily's food truck, The Sausage Guy, and Truth Juice on the Run. The fairgrounds event is expected to draw "three thousand to five thousand people," Smith said.
Kelley flagged that he could not confirm with town staff whether new signatures were required on the paperwork, and separately said he met with veterans who raised concerns about the town's parade, which he said should be "tabled for now."
