Select Board · Meeting of August 19, 2026

Marshfield Select Board voted 2-0 to fix a warrant publication error threatening the October 19 special town meeting. Chair Rick Smith and Clerk Chris Rohland approved a revised notice setting the warrant's opening for August 31 and closing for September 9 at 4 p.m., after Town Administrator Langell said the board's original Monday vote "would not be published in time to comply" with the town charter. The board also approved common victualler and entertainment licenses for Marshfield Fair concessionaires including John Flynn of Fiesta Shows and Charles Elliott of Onion, Ring, and Curly Fries, covering the fair's August 21-30 run.

Vice Chair Eric Kelley did not appear in either roll call.
