Marshfield public works board adopts ADU hookup policy, confirms Ken Ryan as superintendent. Building Commissioner Andrew Stewart warned the town's new accessory-dwelling-unit water and sewer policy conflicts with the general bylaw and urged a spring Town Meeting fix, which the board agreed to pursue. Members also appointed Matt Kinlin town engineer, 3-0 with member Bob abstaining after arguing the town should have "put it out to bid and see what comes in." The Historical Cemetery Commission asked the board to release roughly $113,000 in Community Preservation funds for Chapel Cemetery repairs and flagged a new $250,000 request for Cedar Grove, plus a rusting Daniel Webster Cemetery fence that cost $171,000 in 2013.

The board also awarded a $104,350 earth-materials contract and approved an $11,110 change order on the $1.22 million high school ball fields project.
