MARSHFIELD -- Eleven property deeds were recorded in Marshfield between July 10 and Aug. 8, but sale prices were disclosed in only four of them, according to Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records. The four disclosed sales ranged from $395 to $960, with a median of $690.

MARKET OVERVIEW Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records show 11 property transfers recorded in Marshfield during the four-week period from July 10 through Aug. 8. Of those 11 deeds, four included a disclosed consideration amount: $960, $750, $630 and $395. The median among the four disclosed prices was $690. Sale prices were withheld or not applicable on the remaining seven deeds, which is common for family transfers, trust transfers and other non-arms-length conveyances that do not require a stated consideration amount. Because disclosed pricing covers only about a third of the period's recorded deeds, the raw count of 11 transactions is the more complete measure of activity available from this data. 1866 Main Street sold for $395 on July 15. Barry N. Bartlett, acting through attorney Cindy Kuhn, sold the property to Cher Bear Investments LLC.
