Marshfield deed filings mostly reflect trust transfers as sale prices lag

Plymouth County recorded eight Marshfield property deeds between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only one, 332 Union St., carries a sale price so far: $725. That figure is also the range and median by default, since the other seven transactions show price not yet available. Six of the eight deeds list the same person or family as both seller and buyer, with the buyer side adding a trustee designation, a pattern consistent with transfers into trusts. No street had more than one transaction. With pricing data limited to a single deed, this period's data does not support a read on overall market tone.
