Marshfield Planning Board Continues Webster Street Hearing to June 22
MARSHFIELD — May 18, 2026 — Marshfield Planning Board continues 745 Webster Street special permit hearing to June 22. The board voted 5-0 at its May 18 meeting to push the B1 District Mixed-Use Special Permit hearing for the property, associated with owner Brian Taylor, to June 22 at 7:05 p.m., adding that date to its calendar by a separate unanimous vote. Town Planner Karen Horn flagged that the applicant had already been "denied without prejudice at ZBA because nobody showed up" and could not confirm whether the team would be ready by late June. Chair Mike Bibiano said the board might move toward denial if the applicant is again unprepared. The June 22 session is also expected to include a second hearing on the Forge Lane LIP affordable-housing project, for which Horn reported receiving a second abutter comment and anticipates more before the hearing opens.
